 Hello friends, this time I will share recipes and how to make super delicious roast duck.


Roasted duck is very popular in Asia because duck originates from Asia. Ducks have long been domesticated and kept by humans as a food source, even longer than chickens.


Duck also contains good nutrition and good protein, therefore I will share recipes and how to make preparations from duck, namely roast duck.


Here's the recipe and how to make this roast duck.


First, we prepare the ingredients to make it, here are the ingredients:


  • 1 whole duck (about 1.5 kg)
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tablespoons of sweet soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 cm ginger, finely grated
  • 2 stalks of lemongrass, bruised
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 scallions, thinly sliced


After the ingredients are ready, let's move on to how to make it.


Here's how to make it:


Clean the duck with clean water and coat it with lime. Rinse again with clean water and dry.


Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, cooking oil, salt, ground pepper, garlic, ginger, lemon grass and bay leaves in a bowl. Stir well.


Smear the duck with the spices that have been made, make sure the spices are evenly distributed throughout the duck. Leave it for 30 minutes for the flavors to infuse.


Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.


Place the duck on a lightly oiled roasting rack. Bake the duck in the oven for 45 minutes until done.


After 45 minutes, remove the duck from the oven and brush again with the remaining marinade. Bake for another 15 minutes until the duck is browned and perfectly cooked.


Remove the duck from the oven and sprinkle with the sliced spring onions. Serve roast duck with warm white rice and fresh vegetables.


Serve roast duck with boiled potatoes or rice.
