The next Metaverse city from Southeast Asia is Singapore.

If Metaverse Seoul was the first Metaverse city, then Singapore was the first country to adopt the first digital twins concept back in 2014, and was one of the first cities to embrace the technology.

Singapore as an island nation, Metaverse Insider said that Singapore has high concerns about the impact of climate change. With the help of digital twins, the country can test different weather conditions to analyze whether existing arrangements can withstand adverse impacts.

Furthermore, an integrated structure is available to analyze sea level rise. Using various sensors, Singapore has been able to create a digital replica of its world.

Apart from embracing the concept of digital twins as well, Singapore is investing heavily in startup companies related to Metaverse. NGC Ventures announced it has invested $100 million to help fuel the growth of its Metaverse technology.
